The location of the event being reported is the coordinates of the middle of the screen, which is indicated by the Centre Map Pin.
Alternatively, you can tap and hold the map where you want an event to be reported.
When Reporting an Event you need to add all the required data:
- Event type
- Event address is automatically filled in based on the location that was chosen on the map
- Event date and time is when the Event occurred, or as close to the actual date and time
- Description of 300 characters, which is optional, but we recommend adding as much extra information as possible
- Media attachments in the form of images and/or video to further substantiate the Event
After you have entered all the required information you can tap on the Save button.
Saving the Event will upload all media attachments and depending on how many images and the size of the video, this might take a few minutes. Please be patient during this process
