Viewing an Event

Tapping any marker on the map to zoom to it and see full details of that Event

The View Event screen will open where you will be able to see all the details of the reported event:
- Type of the event
- Full address of the event
- Exact date and time of the event
- 300 character description of the event
- Media attached to this event (photos and/or video)
Reporting an Event

Tapping on the Report Event button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen will open the Report Event screen.
The location of the event being reported is the coordinates of the middle of the screen, which is indicated by the Centre Map Pin.
Alternatively, you can tap and hold the map where you want an event to be reported.

When Reporting an Event you need to add all the required data:
- Event type
- Event address is automatically filled in based on the location that was chosen on the map
- Event date and time is when the Event occurred, or as close to the actual date and time
- Description of 300 characters, which is optional, but we recommend adding as much extra information as possible
- Media attachments in the form of images and/or video to further substantiate the Event
After you have entered all the required information you can tap on the Save button.
Saving the Event will upload all media attachments and depending on how many images and the size of the video, this might take a few minutes. Please be patient during this process
Recent Events Log

Tapping the Recent Events button will open the Recent Events Log.
This screen shows a list of the most recent Events that were reported near you.
Tapping any of the Events in the log will open the View Event screen.
Main Menu

Tapping the Main Menu button will open the left drawer menu

Tapping the Login button will take you to the Authentication screen where you can sign up to be able to Report an Event

Filter Events
By default all Event types are displayed on the map that happened in the last 3 months
The Filter Events section lets you filter the date range of Events that should be displayed as well as which Event type you want to see
The following choices are available for the date range:
- Last 12 months
- Last 6 months
- Last 3 months
- Last month
The following choices are available for the type:
- All
- Abduction
- Assault
- Drugs
- Fire
- Hijacking
- Murder
- Prostitution
- Riot
- Robbery
- Sexual Assault
- Vandalism
Settings
The Settings section lets you change how you see the map by switching the Heatmap on/off and by switching the Centre Map Pin on/off
Support
The Support section is how you can help us better our app.
From here you can Rate the app, Share the app or Send Feedback which gives you a direct email line to us, where you can provide us with any type of feedback you want.

Marker Legend
The Marker Legend opens a screen where you can get greater detail of each marker that you see on the map

My Location

Tapping the My Location button moves the map to your current location
